    You still need the transmission though. There are a complete swap kit for sale on VS right now.

    The first 2 pictures in post #3 show the shifter linkages attached to the transmission that route through the firewall to the gear selector.

    The best thing to do would be to read through Tech's thread as well as the one on VS. All the info you need to know is all there. It took me researching the swap for over a month before I got cracking at it.

    Hey, Welcome to VolvoForums!
    Now, if you saw my post on VS you'll note that I bought a donor car that was a manual from the factory. So I didn't have to hunt down a lot of parts cause I had them all right there at my disposal. That was the best way for me to do it because I was able to see how it all worked before I took anything apart.
