I have a 2017 Volvo XC60.
It was hit perpendicularly on the left rear quarter this week as my new neighbor backed up and across
the street. According to witnesses, it hit pretty hard. The bumper is dented as well as significant scratches just in front of the rear taillights.
The offending driver got out, looked at the damage, and drove away, but a workman outdoors alerted me and identified the driver, vehicle, garage this car came from.
I later spoke with the offending driver. This person told me to get an estimate.
Body shop tells me sensors under
bumper , bumper needs replacement as well as back panel .
Question: there has been no yellow light on side mirror since this happened - also rear view camera point straight down when I attempt to back up - no further yellow lines to guide me back into the parking space.
mall cameras/BLIS working previously and not a scratch on it previously.
