They had me install a wire to get 12V to the carplay box. What I have done:

Use 20 gauge wire from the Volvo fuse panel to the Carplay module. I made sure it was connected to a fuse that turns off when the car ignition is off, so that I will not drain the battery.

Connect the 20 gauge wire to the wire labeled "12V" in the wire harness coming out the back of the Carplay module. This makes my video display function correctly.

Kremersino has sent me a software update, but it did not change this issue...

I read you experienced the sames issue with the Kremersino carplay module as I am: the car display doesn't turn on. What is the workaround they have instructed you to apply?
