car is throwing a P1550 code, speed sensor, idle control etc. I believe all this is pointing back to the abs module which has gone bad. Will having the abs unit rebuilt fix this code?

just have them reset the codes and go from there. mine came on after a new battery, had them reset the code and all was fine.

Give it a tune up, keep your foot out of it, and clean the mass air meter. I would probably return the K&N if it was me, those things are notorious for having excess oil on them that gets on the mass...
