Default Stalling, hard to start, smells like sulfur/exhaust inside

Three days ago my car became difficult to start. It would take 3 attempts to get it going. It feels like it is starving for gas. Check engine light came on and my scan tool said code PO103. I pulled the MAF sensor and cleaned it and the contacts (both looked very clean when I pulled them). It got better for the first few starts then it resumed it's missing and stuttering as I was driving today. Finally, this afternoon it stuttered and died by the side of the road and a smell of sweet exhaust and stinky sulfur filled the cabin. It wouldn't start after waiting 10 min. but it sounds like it wants to.
I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Recheck the codes could very well be a bad MAF.

I'm with Tech on that one. Your symptoms sound just like what happened to our 850. Turned out to be bad MAF and a broken vacuum line. That's where I would start.

Yes, it was a bad sensor. I got the new one today and all is OK. Thank you for your input.
I still have a slight smell of exhaust in the cabin after driving it today with the windows open. Could that be from residual unburned gasses in the cat converter?

I had been getting the odors inside the cabin of my 850 and have been trying to think of what could be the cause. I too may need to replace my MAF sensor but I realized today that the odor only happens when I put the car in sport mode and push it to higher rpms. That said, im now thinking that the smell is from the transmission and torque converter, maybe a good flush will help fix my problem.
