Default 2005 V70 R AWD Problems?

Hi all, I just purchase a shiny second hand 2005 V70R 6-speed. I'm totally in love with it, but I feel like it may have an awd issue. I have never owned a Haldex awd car, but a good friend of mine has an R32. When I get into the boost, the volvo encounters some serious front wheel spin, especially in the rain. If i launch it hard in the dry, it will smoke down the tires and lay two strips of rubber all the way through first. In the rain it spins and torque steers all over through first and second, even a bit with the traction control on and at partial throttle. I know the Haldex isn't like torque biasing awd, but i expected it to be pretty good at accelerating in the wet. It's not throwing any codes or anything, I just want some reassurance that my awd is at least working some. I'd like to take it in for a warranty fix before i do the software and turbo back next week and it gets ever more torque :P

Thanks for any advice on how to see if its all working right, or if the v70 is just too much beast for the awd.

I have not been able to mess with many of them. But IMO the AWD is not working properly.

Hello, How many miles? Change the fluid in the bevel gear. Are there other "T"s to cross and "I"s to dot? Kira

Default AWD Problems

Check your bevel gear lubricant, if it is low or near empty...stomping on it will tear it to shred's...and you don't want to hear the replacement numbers. Are you getting any odd sounds or vibration from it when you get on it???? It could be other things in there not right also??
