Default idle air control valve location

Any one here have a picture of the location of idle air control valve on a 97 960? Rough idle. Took it to Advance Auto and had them read the codes. They said idle air control malfuntion. misfire on 5 one injector was to rich etc. I'm thinking idle air control malfuntion could cause all of this. My mechanic said it might be possible to clean the gunk out of it. Just need to find it.
Thanks, John

I had that code on my 960 for idle valve and cylinder misfire in 6. but it was idling fine, but some time running rough and started misfiring but not all the time.. i still havent figured it out what the problem is.. i did put some new sparks and check the wiring and i know is not the coil because i swapped them and the problem remains on cylinder 6. Is not misfiring all the time it just does it and then runs fines. Im thinkin is an electrical problem.

Just do a tune up first, and swapped the coils to see if the codes goes to another cylinder. that should give you an idea if it is the coil. Usually when the idle control valve goes bad the cars wants to turn off on idle so check first the sparks and coils..

That i never heard.. But I dont think thats you problem.. this cars are tricky with codes it can tell you something but is not that thats why you have to troubleshoot first. you can get it out and clean it is easy also spray some to the throttle and to the hose that goes to the pcv that is in the big hose also that goes to the throttle also check for vacuum leaks.
