Volvo S60 brake booster

I need a new brake booster for my 2003 Volvo S60 - it has STC. Do I need the part with DSTC ? Also, my shop is telling me I need to replace the sensor as well? Is this true ? They want over $2000 to do the job ! I feel ripped off.
